PartyList Privacy Policy
Effective Date: May 25, 2026
Website: https://partylist.vip/privacy
PartyList is a product of Viewcy.com Inc (“PartyList,” “Viewcy,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you use PartyList, including the website at partylist.vip, event pages, invitations, RSVP, ticketing, access approval, messaging, check-in, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).
PartyList is currently an invite-only beta service for users in the United States. The Service is not intended for users located outside the United States, and we do not market or onboard users in the European Union, United Kingdom, or Canada at this time.
1. Who this Policy covers
This Policy applies to hosts, co-hosts, guests, invitees, ticket purchasers, event attendees, and visitors who interact with PartyList. PartyList gives hosts tools to create events, invite guests, manage access, sell tickets, send event communications, and check guests in. Some information you provide through PartyList is shared with the host and co-hosts of the event you are attending, requesting access to, or otherwise interacting with. Hosts are independent from PartyList and are responsible for their own events and their own use of guest information.
2. Personal information we collect
We collect the following categories of personal information, depending on how you use the Service.
Account, profile, and identifier information
We may collect your phone number, email address, display name, optional bio, optional profile photo, and related account information. PartyList uses phone numbers and email addresses for login and account verification, including one-time passcodes sent by SMS or email. We may store metadata showing which identifier was verified, when it was verified, and whether it is your primary account identifier.
Authentication, session, and security information
When you log in or use the Service, we may collect IP address, user-agent string, device/browser information, login timestamp, last-used timestamp, session expiry, and related security information. Refresh tokens are stored as cryptographic hashes and not in plaintext.
Host and event information
If you create or help manage events, we may collect event title, description, event location information, Google Place ID or similar place identifier, date, time, time zone, cover image, design choices, fonts, effects, ticket tiers, refund settings, guest lists, access lists, co-host invitations, and other content you provide for your event. For paid events, hosts may connect a Stripe account to receive payouts. Stripe handles host bank account information directly. PartyList does not see or store host bank account numbers.
Guest, RSVP, ticket, and access information
If you RSVP, buy a ticket, request access, or attend an event, we may collect your RSVP status, ticket information, guest count, optional guest names, optional phone numbers for guests you add, check-in status, QR code status, and related event activity.
For private events, hosts may create custom questions. Your answers may include free-text responses or handles for services such as Instagram, X/Twitter, TikTok, or similar platforms, depending on what the host asks. Hosts control which questions are asked. Custom question answers are shared with the host and co-hosts for the event and are not used by PartyList for third-party marketing.
Payment and transaction information
Payments are processed through Stripe Checkout and Stripe Connect. PartyList does not see or store full credit card numbers or host bank account numbers. We may receive and store Stripe customer IDs, payment status, transaction status, refund history, ticket purchase history, receipt information, and limited payment details such as the last four digits shown on receipts.
Communications information
We may collect and process information relating to SMS messages, emails, invitations, event reminders, host-sent event blasts, access-approved or access-revoked notifications, login codes, opt-outs, unsubscribe requests, delivery status, bounce status, open events, and related communications metadata.
Activity, audit, analytics, and troubleshooting information
We may collect event activity and audit logs, such as RSVPs, access requests, blasts sent, ticket purchases, refund activity, secret-tier unlocks, and check-in activity. We use this information to operate the Service, support future activity feeds, troubleshoot issues, and maintain security. We may also collect product analytics events, feature-flag exposures, error logs, stack traces, basic request telemetry, browser or device information, and similar diagnostics.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies for authentication, session management, security, preferences, analytics, and feature flags. At launch, we do not use third-party advertising cookies, third-party marketing pixels, or session replay. We may use privacy-preserving analytics and product analytics tools to understand how the Service is used and improve the Service.
Future AI-related settings
PartyList does not include AI features in the MVP beta. We may store consent flags, such as whether you have enabled future AI memory features and when you provided consent. If we introduce optional AI features, we will provide additional disclosures and use data for those features only as described at the time of opt-in or consent.
3. Sources of personal information
We collect personal information from you; from hosts and co-hosts; from guests or invitees who add plus-ones; from payment, messaging, hosting, analytics, email, and security providers; and from browser and device technologies such as cookies, local storage, log files, and analytics events.
4. How we use personal information
We use personal information to provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Service; create and manage accounts and login sessions; verify accounts; help hosts create and manage events; help guests RSVP, request access, buy tickets, and attend events; send SMS messages, emails, notifications, one-time passcodes, event invitations, event reminders, host-sent event blasts, and service messages; process payments, refunds, chargebacks, payouts, receipts, and related transaction records; prevent fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, spam, and violations of our Terms; debug, troubleshoot, monitor, secure, and analyze the Service; respond to support, privacy, legal, and security requests; comply with legal obligations; enforce our agreements; and protect the rights, safety, and property of PartyList, users, hosts, guests, and others.
5. SMS and email communications
PartyList sends SMS and email communications as part of the Service.
Types of SMS messages
You may receive PartyList SMS messages relating to event invitations, RSVP reminders, host-sent event announcements or text blasts, access-approved or access-revoked notifications, ticket or check-in updates, account verification, and one-time login codes.
Consent to receive SMS messages
You consent to receive PartyList SMS messages when you sign up for a PartyList account, RSVP to or interact with an event, buy a ticket, request access to an event, ask to receive a one-time login code, or are invited by a host who has your phone number and represents that they have permission to contact you about the event. Hosts are responsible for ensuring they have permission to invite or message each recipient whose phone number they add to PartyList.
SMS frequency, rates, and carrier disclaimer
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Reply STOP to unsubscribe. Reply HELP for help.
If you reply STOP, you opt out of PartyList event communications sent through the applicable messaging service. You may text START to re-opt in. One-time passcodes and account verification messages may be sent through a separate verification channel when you request them and may not be affected by an opt-out from event communications.
No sharing of mobile opt-in data for marketing
No mobile data will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes at any time. We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number, SMS opt-in data, or SMS consent status with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. We may share phone numbers and message content with service providers such as Twilio only as needed to deliver PartyList messages, operate the Service, maintain security, comply with law, or honor your choices.
Email communications
PartyList may send transactional emails, invitations, event notices, account messages, and service communications. Where required or appropriate, emails include an unsubscribe link. Even if you unsubscribe from certain event or promotional-style messages, we may still send important service, security, payment, account, or legal notices.
6. How we disclose personal information
We disclose personal information in the following ways.
Hosts, co-hosts, and event participants
If you interact with an event, we may share your RSVP status, ticket status, name, contact details, guest count, guest names, access request, custom question answers, check-in status, and related event activity with the host and co-hosts of that event. This sharing is core to the Service.
Service providers and subprocessors
We use service providers to operate the Service. These may include Stripe for payments, checkout, refunds, disputes, connected accounts, and payouts; Twilio for SMS, one-time passcodes, opt-out handling, and message delivery status; Resend or similar providers for transactional email; Neon or similar providers for database hosting; Vercel for hosting, storage, request telemetry, analytics, and uploaded event images; Upstash or similar providers for queues, rate limiting, and cache data; Sentry, PostHog, Statsig, or similar providers for observability, analytics, error reporting, feature flags, and product improvement; and location or mapping providers, such as Google Maps/Places, if location search or place identification features are enabled.
These providers are authorized to process personal information as needed to provide services to PartyList, subject to their agreements with us and applicable law.
Legal, safety, and compliance
We may disclose personal information if we believe it is necessary or appropriate to comply with law, legal process, subpoenas, court orders, governmental requests, law enforcement requests, payment network requirements, carrier requirements, tax obligations, or similar obligations; to enforce our Terms; to prevent fraud, abuse, spam, or security incidents; or to protect rights, safety, and property.
Business transactions and consent
We may disclose personal information in connection with an actual or proposed merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, bankruptcy, sale of assets, or similar business transaction involving PartyList or Viewcy.com Inc. We may also disclose personal information with your consent or at your direction.
7. Payments and Stripe
Stripe processes payments for paid events and handles sensitive payment information. PartyList does not see or store full credit card numbers. If you are a host, Stripe may collect and process information needed for connected account onboarding, identity verification, tax reporting, payouts, and bank account setup. Stripe's own terms and privacy notices apply to Stripe's processing of this information. PartyList may receive payment status, transaction identifiers, refund status, dispute status, receipt information, limited card details shown on receipts, and other information needed to operate ticketing and payment features.
8. California and U.S. state privacy rights
Depending on where you live and whether applicable privacy laws apply to PartyList, you may have rights to request that we confirm whether we process your personal information; provide access to, or a portable copy of, your personal information; provide information about the categories of personal information we collect, sources, purposes, categories of recipients, and disclosures; delete personal information we collected from you, subject to legal and operational exceptions; correct inaccurate personal information; opt you out of the sale or sharing of personal information or targeted advertising, if applicable; limit use or disclosure of sensitive personal information, if applicable; and appeal a denial of a privacy request, where applicable.
PartyList does not sell personal information. PartyList does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising or targeted advertising at launch. We do not knowingly sell or share personal information of anyone under 16. We do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you. Some information you provide, including custom access-question answers or message content, may be considered sensitive depending on what you choose to provide or what a host asks. We use and disclose that information to provide the Service, process your request, support the event, maintain security, comply with law, and as otherwise described in this Policy.
We do not currently use profiling or automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects. We do not offer financial incentives in exchange for personal information.
How to exercise privacy rights
You may exercise privacy rights by using available account export or account deletion tools in the Service or by emailing us at privacy@partylist.vip. Please include enough information for us to understand and verify your request. We may ask for additional information to verify your identity and protect your account.
You may use an authorized agent to submit a request where applicable law allows. We may require proof that the agent is authorized and may require you to verify your identity directly with us. If we deny a request and applicable law gives you a right to appeal, you may appeal by emailing privacy@partylist.vipand including “Privacy Appeal” in the subject line. We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights.
Global Privacy Control
Because PartyList does not sell personal information or share personal information for targeted advertising at launch, Global Privacy Control signals do not change the current operation of the Service. Where required, we will treat a recognized Global Privacy Control signal as a request to opt out of sale or sharing for the browser or device sending the signal.
9. California Notice at Collection
This section provides additional notice for California residents.
In the past 12 months, we may have collected the following categories of personal information: identifiers; customer records information; commercial information; internet or other electronic network activity; geolocation or event-location-related information; audio, electronic, visual, or similar information such as profile photos and event images; inferences drawn from Service activity; and sensitive personal information such as account login credentials, contents of messages sent through PartyList, payment-related information handled by Stripe, and any sensitive information you choose to provide in custom questions or communications.
We collect these categories from the sources described in Section 3, use them for the purposes described in Section 4, and disclose them to the categories of recipients described in Section 6. We retain personal information as described in Section 10. We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use sensitive personal information for purposes that require a right to limit under California law.

PartyList is not directed to children under 13, and users must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you may use the Service only with permission of a parent or legal guardian. Hosts may create events that minors attend, but the Service is not designed for account holders under 13.
If we learn that we have collected personal information online from a child under 13 without appropriate consent, we will take reasonable steps to delete it. Parents or guardians may contact us at privacy@partylist.vip.
